Basu Paints

Basu Paints is our shop over at Shop Number 3 on Mirzapur Road. We are right at the Sukhpar 3 Rasta, inside the Sahjanand Complex. If you are looking for us, we are quite close to the Mirzapur Police Station. The area is usually busy with traffic coming through the crossroads. Inside the shop, the smell of fresh paint is always there, which I’ve grown to like over the years. We have stacks of cans everywhere, some big and some small. The counter is wooden and has quite a few paint stains on it from where we’ve mixed colors for people. We don't have any flashy displays or neon lights. It’s just rows of shelves and a few chairs for people to sit on while they decide what they need. We spend a lot of time looking at color cards under the shop lights and then taking them outside to see how they look in the real sun. The Sahjanand Complex is a good spot, and we know the other shopkeepers around here. Sometimes we help each other out when things get busy or when a heavy delivery arrives. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, open the shutters, and spend the day talking about primers, brushes, and different types of finishes. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the entrance for a few minutes, but everyone around here is patient enough. It's just a local paint shop.
