Ayurvedic - Dr. Jay Sanghvi

Dr. Jay Sanghvi runs this Ayurvedic practice out here in Kutch. It’s a unique part of the world to live and work in. We’ve been focused on traditional ways of doing things for quite a while now. Kutch is a big place, but people seem to find their way to us when they are looking for an Ayurvedic approach to their health. The pace of life here is a bit different than in the big cities, and we think that suits the kind of work we do. Our setup is quite simple. We don't have any of those big corporate office vibes. It’s just a place where we sit down and talk to people about what’s bothering them. Dr. Sanghvi has his way of looking at things that comes from years of practice. Most days are spent preparing different herbs or chatting with patients who have traveled from various parts of the region. Some people come from quite far away just to visit. We don’t spend much time on fancy advertising or anything like that. Word usually gets around from person to person. The environment here is quiet, which helps when you’re trying to focus on healing. It's a honest way to earn a living, helping folks feel a bit better using the old methods. We’re just local people helping other locals out. There’s nothing too complicated about how we run things, we just take it one day at a time. Living in Kutch means you’re used to the open spaces and the dust.
