Amardeep Industries

We’ve been running things here at Amardeep Industries for quite a while now. Our spot is out in GIDC, specifically Plot 1101, which is right by the telephone exchange on Madhapar Road. It’s an industrial area, so there is always noise and trucks moving around. We start early in the morning when the sun is just coming up. The workshop gets pretty warm during the day, but that is just part of the job. Most of our time is spent looking at drawings or handling the machines. It’s not fancy work, but it fills the day. We have a few guys who have been with us since the beginning. Sometimes the traffic on Madhapar Road gets backed up, making it a bit of a pain to get deliveries in, but we manage. You can usually find someone in the front office if the gate is open. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the plot number. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings or bits of scrap that need clearing out by Friday. It’s a busy place. We keep our tools organized on the back wall, though sometimes things go missing for a day or two. Usually, it’s just a matter of asking who used the wrench last. People around here know us for being in this specific corner of the estate. We just keep our heads down and get through the pile of work on the desk.
