Enosh Army Store

Enosh Army Store is out by Sarpat Gate on the road that heads towards Khavda in Bhuj. It’s a bit of a dusty location because of all the wind coming off the open land. We are located right outside the gate, so people heading out of town usually see us. The store has all the basic things that soldiers or people who like that style need. It’s not a fancy boutique or anything. The floor is just simple tile and we have some old glass counters where we keep the smaller items. Because we are on the Bhuj Khavda Road, there are a lot of military vehicles that pass by. Sometimes the wind blows a lot of sand inside, so I have to sweep the floor three or four times a day. It’s quiet in the early morning, which I like. I usually sit out front with a cup of tea before the sun gets too high. There is a lot of history around Sarpat Gate, and you can see the old walls from where we stand. The building we are in is quite old and has some cracks in the plaster, but it stays fairly cool. We don't have many employees, mostly it’s just me and one other guy. We keep the inventory on the high shelves to save space. People coming from the rural areas often stop here to get things they can't find in their villages. It’s just a regular shop on the edge of town.
