United Doctors Hospital

Down in Sundarpada, you’ll find us tucked away. It is a quiet enough spot most of the time, though the mornings can be a bit of a rush. We have been operating out of this building for quite some time. The walls have seen a lot of people come and go. It’s not the biggest place, but we make use of the space we have. Most of the staff live nearby, so they walk or bike in. You might see some of us grabbing tea at the corner shop before the shift starts. The lobby has those standard plastic chairs and a clock that ticks a bit too loud when it is quiet. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just the doctors and the nurses doing their thing day in and day out. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk, but we get through it. People from the surrounding blocks know where we are. We see a lot of the same faces over the years. It feels like a small community inside these walls. We keep the equipment running and the rooms ready for whoever walks in. Sundarpada has changed a lot, but this hospital stays pretty much the same. We are just here doing the job. Nothing more to it than that. If you need to find us, just ask someone in the neighborhood, they usually know the way. We keep the doors open and the lights on through the night too.
