Our place, Trishna Gypsum Pvt. Ltd., is located over at Plot No. 468 in Saheednagar. It’s a busy area and we’ve been tucked away here for a while. Dealing with gypsum means a lot of white powder everywhere, so the office and the storage area usually have a thin layer of dust on everything no matter how much we clean. We handle the supply side of things mostly. People come to us when they are doing interior work or need stuff for ceilings and walls. It’s not the most exciting business, but it’s steady. Saheednagar can be a bit tight for parking, especially when we have big trucks coming in to unload, but we've learned to work around the neighbors. We don't have a big sales pitch. Most of our customers are contractors who just want to know if we have the stock and what the price is today. We try to keep things honest and tell people straight if we’re out of something. Some days it’s just a lot of phone calls and checking ledgers. It's a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to helping load up a small van. We’re just a local business trying to stay organized and keep the shelves full for whoever walks in. It’s basic work, but it keeps us busy from morning until we close up.
