Tata Robins Fraser Ltd

We are located out on Puri Road in the Rasulgarh area of Bhubaneswar. If you know this part of the city, you know how much traffic there is with all the trucks and buses moving toward the coast. Tata Robins Fraser Ltd has been here for a while, and we focus on the heavy side of things like material handling equipment. It’s not a clean office job. Most days involve being out in the yard or the workshop where things are being welded or assembled. It’s noisy and there is always the smell of grease and metal in the air. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to polish up how we look. It’s just us, a bunch of engineers and mechanics trying to make sure the conveyors and crushers are built right. The humidity in Bhubaneswar is no joke, so we are all usually pretty tired by the end of the shift. We get people coming in from all over Orissa looking for parts or advice on their machinery. We have a small area for visitors with some old plastic chairs and a water cooler that rattles. It’s a practical place. We don’t use big words or try to act like we are better than the next shop down the road. We just know our machines and we work until the job is finished for the day, then we fight the traffic to get back home.
