Tanishq The Jeweller

Our shop is at Plot No. 108 E in Station Square, right in Unit 3. Being near the railway station means there is always a crowd of people walking past. We’ve been here at this spot for a long time. It’s a small shop, but we keep it bright and clean. People coming off the trains often stop by to look at the window. We sell mostly gold and silver pieces, things people buy for weddings or gifts. We aren't a giant showroom like you see in the big malls. It’s just a counter, some stools for customers, and the glass cases. My father started this, and now we just keep it going. We know many of our customers by name because they live in the neighborhood. They come in for repairs or to get something polished up. The station area is always loud with the announcements and the horns, but inside it’s a bit quieter. We spend time checking the scales and making sure every piece is accounted for. It’s a lot of responsibility handling precious metals and we take it seriously. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just show the jewelry and help people find what they like. It’s a steady business. We enjoy seeing the same faces year after year. It’s a good location, even with all the noise from the trains. We've become part of the square now and we like it.
