About Swastik Engineers – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Bhubaneswar
Swastik Engineers is tucked away at Plot No.308 in Laxmi Sagar. The Shani Mandir is the main landmark around here, and it’s how most people know they have reached the right street. Our workshop is not very large, but we make use of every inch of the plot. We have machines lined up against the walls and stacks of materials near the entrance. It is a bit of a maze sometimes if we have a lot of work going on at once. The floor is concrete and has plenty of cracks from years of heavy stuff being moved around. We do not have a receptionist or a waiting room; people just walk in and find us in the back. Usually, there is someone welding or drilling, so it gets pretty loud. We have to shout over the noise sometimes to hear each other. Laxmi Sagar is a decent area, though the roads can get pretty muddy when it rains heavily. We spend a lot of time cleaning our tools and making sure everything is where it should be, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. It is just the way we work. We have our tea brought in from a local guy every afternoon, and that is usually the only time the machines are silent. We just focus on the tasks we have and try to get things out the door on time.
