Ub Co

Ub Co is basically just me and a couple of others working out of Flat 3A. It isn't a big office building or a shopfront on a busy street. It is just a flat where we set up our desks and computers to get things done. Sometimes the neighbors in the building wonder what we are doing in here all day. We keep the door closed mostly to keep the noise down and stay focused. It is a quiet space, which is good when there is a lot of paperwork to finish. I brought in an old sofa from home so people have a place to sit if they have to wait for something. The kitchen is small, so we mostly just make coffee and keep a few snacks around. Working from Flat 3A has its ups and downs. It is cozy but it can feel a bit cramped when we have a lot of files piled up on the floor. We have been here for a bit now and it feels like home. I usually walk to work because I live close by in the next block. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing. It is not a fancy setup, just a regular place to work. We do not have any big signs outside, so you have to know which doorbell to ring. Sometimes the mailman gets confused, but he knows us now. It is just a small operation. We do what we can with the space.
