Padmalaya

Padmalaya is situated at 31A, Janpath Unit 3. It’s a decent enough spot, though parking around Janpath can be a real headache some days. We’ve learned to just walk or take a rickshaw if we can. The building itself is okay, just a standard block with other offices and shops nearby. Unit 3 is usually buzzing with people coming and going. Our space inside 31A is mostly filled with stuff we need for work. There isn’t a lot of extra room for sitting around. We have some old filing cabinets that have seen better days and a clock on the wall that loses about five minutes every week. Nobody bothers to fix it; we all just know to look at our phones instead. It feels like home in a way, mostly because we spend so much time here. The walls are a neutral color that’s faded a bit over the years. We don’t have any fancy art or anything, just some calendars and notes pinned up. It’s a simple environment. You won't find anything high-tech or flashy when you walk in. It’s just us working at our desks and trying to keep everything moving forward. We know the neighbors pretty well, and we usually exchange a nod or a quick word in the mornings. It’s a straightforward place to be, and that suits us just fine. We just handle things as they come and try to stay productive throughout the day.
