Om Sai Pharmaceutical

Our place is near Jatni, which is a real railway town through and through. You can always hear the whistles from the junction if the wind is blowing the right way. Om Sai Pharmaceutical is a small, local spot. We don’t have a massive warehouse or anything like that. It’s just a storefront where we keep the essentials. Jatni has a very specific feel to it, where everyone kind of knows everyone else’s business. We have locals who stop by just to say hello even if they don’t need to buy anything that day. The shop has a tile floor that we sweep out twice a day because of the dust from the station. We have simple wooden shelves that have seen better days, but they hold the medicine boxes just fine. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when the big trains come in and the station area gets crowded. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just open up, sit behind the counter, and help the people who come in. We might have a cup of tea with the shopkeeper from next door during the slow hours. It’s a relaxed pace of work. We’ve been here for a while and we plan on staying. It’s just a regular part of the Jatni community, serving the people who live and work around the railway tracks. We like being a small part of the town's daily life.
