Om Sai Medicines

Om Sai Medicines is situated at Plot No 35 in Samanta Vihar. We are located right at the Kalinga Hospital Chhak, which is a very well-known spot in Chandrasekharpur. Because we are so close to the hospital, there are always people around at all hours of the day. The shop is small and packed with medicine boxes from the floor to the ceiling. We have to use a small ladder to reach the things on the top shelves. It can get very busy in the evenings when people are leaving the hospital and need to pick up their prescriptions. We have been here for a long time and the locals know us by name. The atmosphere is a bit chaotic because of the traffic outside and the constant flow of customers. We don't have a fancy computerized inventory system. We just know where everything is based on experience. Sometimes we run out of a specific item and have to call around to see who can send it over. The staff here is like a small family. We share our meals in the back of the shop when there is a quiet moment. There isn't any promotional talk here; we just try to find the right medicine for the person standing at the counter. It is a simple, necessary service that we provide to the neighborhood. We just keep things moving as best as we can.
