Odisha Merchandise Private Ltd. is set up at No. 154/044 in Subudhipur. We are part of the Kalinga Vihar area in Khandagiri, which is a busy part of town. The office is basically where all the coordination happens for the merchandise we handle. We have a warehouse area too where we keep the inventory organized, or at least we try to keep it organized. It gets pretty dusty with all the boxes being moved around all the time. Our team is small, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to counting the stock. We don't go in for anything flashy; the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that. Most of the day is spent checking orders and making sure the right items go to the right people. Khandagiri has a lot of traffic, so we have to plan our deliveries carefully so the trucks don't get stuck for hours in the midday heat. We drink a lot of tea while we go through the ledgers and plan out the next week's work. It’s a straightforward business, just buying and selling things and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. We’ve been in Subudhipur for a while and the neighbors know us by now.
