Nihar Traders

Our place is in Khurda, specifically at Plot No- A/14 in the Labour Colony. It’s a straightforward trading setup. We have been here for a bit now, and most people in the unit know us. Nihar Traders isn't a huge operation, just a few of us managing the day-to-day stock. Being in a Labour Colony means it's always active around here. You hear trucks moving and people shouting instructions all day long. We deal with various goods, moving them in and out of the space we have. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in trading, so we spend a good chunk of time at the old wooden desks checking invoices. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to bother with that. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the inventory matches what we have on the floor. It gets pretty dusty, especially when the wind picks up, so we’re always cleaning off the boxes. It’s hard work, and by the end of the shift, we’re all pretty tired. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do the trading work that needs doing, and try to keep things moving along. It’s a basic, honest way to spend the day in this part of town. Every morning starts with a quick check of what arrived late the night before. By the time we leave, the tally sheets are usually full.
