New Optical Eye Clinic

Down here at Nilachala Market in Arugul, we set up the New Optical Eye Clinic to help people see a bit clearer. It is a small shop, really. You might miss it if you are walking too fast toward the main market stalls. We have a decent selection of frames on the wall, some cheap ones and a few that cost a bit more, but nothing too crazy. Most days it is just me and one other person helping out. We spend a lot of time tightening screws on old glasses or checking if someone needs a stronger lens because they are squinting at their phone too much. The light in the back room is a little dim, which actually helps with the eye tests if you think about it. Arugul is a growing place, and we see new faces every week, though many of our regulars have been coming since we first opened the doors. We don't do big ads on the radio. Word of mouth usually brings people in. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit and chat with whoever is waiting until the generator kicks in or the lights come back on. It is a straightforward business. We look at your eyes, tell you what we see, and find a pair of glasses that fits your face and your budget without making a big fuss about it.
