Nayak & Co.

Nayak & Co. is located in Quarter No. L/B 425 in the Bhimatangi H.B. Colony, Phase-III. Since we are in a residential colony, it’s much quieter than being in the middle of a commercial district. Our office is just a converted part of the quarter, so it has a very lived-in feel to it. There are bookshelves lined with old ledgers and files that have been there for years. We have some wooden chairs for when people come by to talk about business, but mostly it is just us working quietly. The windows look out onto the colony gardens, which is a nice change of pace. We don't have a big neon sign or anything like that. People usually find us because they live nearby or someone told them where we were. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down by hand. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, but it suits the atmosphere of the colony. Sometimes we take a break and walk around the block just to get some air. The building itself is a bit old and the paint is peeling in some places, but it’s a comfortable spot to spend the day. We don't have any grand plans to move to a big office building. We like the quiet here in Phase-III and the way we can just focus on our tasks without any distractions.
