Our office is on Forest Park Road, which is actually a pretty nice spot compared to some other parts of the city. We’re right near Ashok Nagar and the Master Canteen area, so there’s always something happening nearby. Mehers Agrofoodline is mostly about getting the products moved from the farms to the city. We have a lot of paperwork to deal with, and the phones seem to ring at the most inconvenient times. The office isn't very big, and we’ve got posters on the walls that have been there since we moved in. It’s a bit cluttered with samples and files, but we know where everything is. Being near the canteen means we never have to worry about where to get lunch, though it gets very crowded during the peak hours. We see a lot of different people coming through our doors, from delivery drivers to suppliers. We don't put on any airs here. If the fan is making a clicking noise, we just put up with it. The floors are a bit scuffed from all the boots coming in and out, but that just shows we’re working. Ashok Nagar has a specific feel to it, a mix of residential and business that keeps things interesting. We’ve had some long days here, especially when the harvests come in and everything needs to be coordinated at once. It’s hard work, but we’ve been doing it long enough that it’s just second nature to us now.
