Maa Masala

Maa Masala is over at Plot No. 97-Hig in Dharma Vihar. We are in the Khandagiri area, which is part of Bhubaneswar in the Khurda district. We make masalas here. It’s a local operation that we have been running for quite some time now. We’ve been at this plot for a while. Dharma Vihar is a quiet enough place, mostly residential but we have our spot here. We spend our days grinding and packing things. It gets a bit messy with all the spices but that's just part of the job. Khandagiri is a well-known part of town, so we aren't too hard to locate if you're in Bhubaneswar. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything. It's just us working at Plot No. 97-Hig. Sometimes the smell of the spices carries down the street, which I guess lets people know we are busy. We’ve lived and worked in Khurda for a long time now. Maa Masala is just a small business trying to do things the right way. We don't have a bunch of managers or a HR department. It’s just a few of us. We start early and finish when the work is done. If you are walking around Dharma Vihar, you might see us. We like the area. Bhubaneswar is growing fast but Khandagiri still feels like home to us. The address is pretty straightforward, Plot No. 97-Hig. We just focus on the masalas and keeping the place running every day.
