Lycos India is based over at Plot No-143-B in the Mancheswar Industrial Estate. We are specifically in Sec-A, Zone-A of the estate. If you’ve ever been to Mancheswar, you know it’s a massive area dedicated to all kinds of industries and warehouses. It can be a bit of a maze if you don't have a map or a good sense of direction. Our plot, 143-B, is right in the middle of a lot of activity. There’s always the sound of machinery or the hum of engines in the background, which is just the way things are in an industrial zone. We’ve been here for a long time, and we’ve seen the estate change as new companies come and go. Our office is a functional space built for work, not for showing off. We have high ceilings and plenty of room for our things, but it’s definitely an industrial vibe. The roads in Sec-A can be a bit bumpy because of all the heavy trucks, so you have to drive carefully when you’re coming in. During the rainy season, some of the low spots in Zone-A get a bit of water, but it usually clears up pretty fast. We like being in Mancheswar because it puts us right where the action is. It’s a hard-working area, and we fit right in with that. The work goes on whether it is hot or raining outside in the estate.
