Kalinga Neon Light

Kalinga Neon Light is based at Plot No. 7-J on Lewis Road. We’re in the B.J.B. Nagar area. It’s a nice part of town, though it gets a bit crowded during the school run times. We spend our days working with glass and gas and wires. It’s a bit of an old-school craft, really. The shop is full of transformers and bits of tubing. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit because you’re bound to get some soot or wire clippings on you. We’ve been here in B.J.B. Nagar for a long time. People around here know the sign out front. We don't have a sales team. Usually, if someone wants a neon light, they just walk through the door or give us a call on the landline. We take our time with the bending. You can't rush glass or it breaks. Sometimes we stay late when a big project is due, and the whole shop glows with different colors from the testing. It’s quite a sight from the street. My brother handles the wiring and I do the glasswork. We have a couple of helpers who handle the deliveries. It’s a steady living. We don't plan on moving anytime soon. We like the neighborhood and the people who live around Lewis Road. It’s home for us. We just keep doing what we do, making one light at a time and making sure they last for the people who buy them.
