Kgn Interior

We are over at Plot No. 147 on the Old Post Office Lane in Budheswari. Kgn Interior is basically a workshop where we deal with wood, laminates, and a whole lot of sawdust. If you come by our place in Bhubaneswar, you’ll probably find us measuring out boards or trying to fit a hinge just right. The lane is a bit narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We have samples of different materials leaning against the walls and catalogs that have seen better days. It’s not a polished studio; it’s a place where we actually build things. We spend a lot of time on our knees on the floor or perched on stools. There’s always a tape measure hanging from someone’s pocket. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but there is usually plenty of hand work to do in the meantime. We talk to people about how they want their cupboards or their kitchens to look and then we just get to it. It’s a lot of manual labor and making sure the cuts are straight. We’ve been in this Odisha 751006 area for a while now and we like the local feel of the street. It’s noisy and busy but it’s where we do our best work with our hands and tools.
