We are based out of Plot No. 318 at BDA Square in Bhimatangi. It’s a busy spot because of all the traffic coming through the square. Our office is mostly just a place for us to keep track of where the trucks are and what’s being moved. There are maps on the walls and a lot of logbooks stacked on the desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers or trying to coordinate with the warehouses. It’s a lot of stress when a shipment is late or a truck breaks down on the highway. We don't have a fleet of shiny new vehicles; it’s more about just getting the job done with what we have. The noise from the square is constant, so we usually have the windows shut to keep the dust and sound out. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the late-night reports to come in. It’s the kind of business where things can change in a minute, so you always have to be ready to pivot. We’ve been at this location for a good while, and most of the local drivers know where to find us. It’s honest work, even if it means some long hours and a lot of arguing over delivery times. We just try to keep the paperwork straight and the cargo moving through the city as best as we can without making too many mistakes.
