Independent Engineering Consultant Not Employed Currently

I am an independent engineering consultant working from my home at D 303 Baishnav Vihar in Bomikhal. I’m not currently with any of the big firms, which actually gives me a bit more freedom to take on the projects I’m actually interested in. Bhubaneswar is growing fast, and there’s always something that needs an engineer's eye. I’ve been in this field for many years, so I’ve seen how things have changed around Orissa. My setup here is pretty basic—just a computer, some old textbooks, and my drawings. I don't really go in for the fancy titles or the corporate ladder stuff anymore. I just want to solve problems and make sure things are built the way they should be. Being in Bomikhal is convenient for me, even if the roads get a bit crowded during the rainy season. People usually call me when they have a technical issue they can't figure out on their own. I take my time to look things over and give a straight answer. It’s not a fast-paced life like it used to be, but I prefer it this way. I handle my own hours and my own clients, which means I can actually focus on the engineering side of things without all the meetings that don't go anywhere. It is just me here, making sure the technical details are handled correctly for whoever needs my help.
