Ind-barath Energy Utkal Ltd. Our office is over at 249 in Kharvela Nagar. We’re in Unit-III, which is a pretty central part of town. There’s always someone coming or going through the front door. We have some desks and a lot of files about the energy work we do. It’s not the quietest place because of the phones ringing and the construction noises nearby. We spend a lot of time in meetings or looking at technical drawings. The area has a lot of trees, which is nice when it’s hot outside. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait for the generator to kick in. We aren't trying to be some big corporate giant, we’re just doing the work that needs to be done here in Odisha. Most of the staff has been here for years. We eat lunch together in the small break area. It feels like a regular office where people actually know each other's names. We have to deal with a lot of paperwork from various offices. The address is easy to find if you know the landmark near Unit-III. It’s just 249, a plain building with some parked cars out front. We’re usually here from nine until the sun goes down. There is a small tea shop around the corner where we usually take our afternoon breaks and talk about things other than power lines or paperwork.
