Our office is at C-17 in the Palashpalli area. It’s a bit quieter than the main city center, which is nice when we have to focus on the logistics of what we do. We handle things related to power and transport, so there is always a lot of technical talk happening around the water cooler. We have a small team, and most of us have been working together for years, so we know each other's habits pretty well. The desks are usually covered in technical drawings and schedules for different projects we have going on. We don't really do the whole fancy advertising thing. Most people find us because they know someone we worked with before. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with teams out in the field, sometimes in places where the signal isn't very good. It can be stressful when a deadline is coming up or when equipment gets stuck somewhere, but we just take it as it comes. We aren't trying to change the world, we just want to make sure the lights stay on and the transport links work like they are supposed to. At the end of the day, we lock up the office and head home like anyone else. It’s decent work and it keeps us busy enough that the weeks go by fast. There is always something to do.
