Drive-In

Drive-In is located right in Jaydev Vihar. We are pretty close to the May Fair Hotel, which makes us easy to find if you are in that part of Bhubaneshwar. The address is 751013, if you’re looking it up on a map. We started this place because we wanted a spot that was easy to get to for people driving by. It isn't a fancy place with white tablecloths or expensive decor. We have some outdoor space and some indoor seating, and it’s all pretty casual. People usually stop by when they are heading somewhere else or just want a break from the traffic on the main road. The staff is mostly local guys who live nearby in the neighborhood. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing team telling us what to do every day. We just decide what's on the menu based on what we can get fresh from the market. Some days the weather is great and everyone wants to sit outside. Other days it's too hot and we all crowd inside near the air coolers. We've had some good years here in Jaydev Vihar. It’s a growing area, so we see new buildings going up all the time. But we’ve stayed pretty much the same through it all. We don’t think much about branding or things like that. We just want to make sure the food is ready and the place is open when people show up. It’s a simple business, really. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things moving.
