We have been over at Plot No 676 in Sahid Nagar for quite a while now. Most people know our spot because we are tucked right behind the Khanduali Temple. It is a busy part of Bhubaneshwar, but we like it here. Designo Home isn’t some big fancy corporation with a hundred employees. We just focus on houses and making them look okay for the people who live in them. Sometimes people stop by because they are lost looking for the temple, but we do not mind that. We have our office set up and we spend most of our days drawing things up and looking at different material samples. The traffic on the road can get a bit much during the evenings, but that is just how Sahid Nagar is. It is a local place. We know the neighbors and the tea stall nearby. If you are walking around the back of the temple, you will probably see our sign. We keep things pretty simple here. No big speeches or complicated plans that nobody understands. We just work on homes. Some days are busier than others, especially when we have a few projects going at once. We have stayed in this 751007 area because it feels like home to us. It is not a showroom where everything is perfect and untouchable. It is a working space. There is usually some dust and a lot of paper everywhere. We just try to get the job done.
