Capital Hospital

Capital Hospital is located right in Unit 6, and if you are standing in front of Biju Pattnayak Park, you really can’t miss us. It’s a convenient spot because people can use the park as a landmark. The building itself is pretty straightforward. We have different departments for various health issues, and it stays quite busy most of the time. We aren't one of those big corporate hospitals with glass walls and uniforms for every single person. It’s more of a local place where the nurses and doctors know the regulars. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic in the lobby, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get their appointments sorted. We have been here for years, and the walls probably need a fresh coat of paint, but the equipment is what matters. The view of the park is nice for the people who have to spend a lot of time here. We see all kinds of people, from the morning walkers to families from other parts of the city. It’s a lot of hard work, and the shifts can be long, but it’s just what we do. There’s no big secret to how we run things; we just handle the patients as they come in. It’s a plain, working hospital for the people around here. We have some benches outside for when it gets too hot inside, and you’ll often see people sitting there chatting. It’s just how things go in Unit 6.
