We operate out of No. 2010 in the Twin City Tower, which is located in the Pahal area. Pahal is known for its sweets, but we are here for the trading business. Being in a tower means we have a bit of a view, though we are usually too busy looking at invoices and shipping manifests to notice. Trading is a fast-paced game. We spend our time coordinating between different sellers and buyers. There are always phone calls to make and emails to answer. Sometimes the logistics get messy, and we have to spend the whole afternoon untangling a shipment issue. The office is pretty functional. We have some shelves for samples and a few desks piled high with paperwork. We don't go in for fancy decorations or corporate branding. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Pahal is a good spot for us because it’s between the major hubs. We have a small team, and everyone knows their role. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just try to buy and sell things fairly and make sure they get where they are going on time. Some days are stressful when prices fluctuate, but that’s just the nature of trading. We keep a simple routine and try to stay organized, even when things get hectic. It’s a straightforward business and we like the challenge of it. There is always something new happening in the market.
