Up here in Bangalore, Karnataka, Vedanta Aluminium Limited has a presence that feels a bit different from the rural sites. Even so, our office isn't one of those high-tech glass towers you see in the IT parks. We are tucked away in a more standard part of the city. Bangalore is always growing and the traffic is something we deal with every single morning. The office is a functional space where we handle the Karnataka side of the aluminium business. We have a mix of people in the office, some who have been here for years and some newer faces. We don’t do those big team-building exercises you hear about in the news. We just grab a coffee together and talk about what needs to get done for the day. The weather in Bangalore is usually nice, so we don't always need the AC, which is a relief. Our desks are covered in notebooks and printouts. It looks like a place where work actually happens. We focus on the practical side of things—logistics, regional admin, and keeping the records straight. It’s a straightforward job. We don’t try to sound like a multinational corporation in our daily talk. We are just a team in Bangalore trying to keep the wheels turning for the company. It's a good place to work for us.
