Tanuja Dutta Exports

Our office is located at 467 Sahid Nagar. It’s a pretty well-known part of town, so finding us isn’t usually too hard. Tanuja Dutta Exports isn't a giant company with hundreds of employees. We are just a small group of people working out of this space. The building is older, and it has its quirks, but it serves us well enough for what we need. We spend most of our time dealing with suppliers and making sure our exports are ready for the containers. There is always a lot of paperwork piled up on the desks. Sahid Nagar is a lively place, so there is always noise from the street, which we’ve gotten used to over the years. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with slogans or big posters on the wall. We just focus on the task at hand. If a shipment is delayed, we spend the afternoon on the phone trying to track it down. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things twice. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we always try to make it right for the people we work with. Most of our day is spent making sure everything is labeled correctly and the weight is right. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while, and we like the local feel of the place. We keep things moving as best as we can every single day.
