About Supervisor – Metals & Minerals in Bhubaneshwar
Boinda is where we keep the office, right near the Kishoreganj area. It is a bit of a trek for some of us, but B.C. Tripathy makes sure things stay organized. The office isn't much to look at, just a few desks and a lot of registers stacked up. We spend most of the morning checking the logs. Outside, the road gets quite dusty when the trucks pass by. Angul can get incredibly hot in the summer, so the fan stays on all day long. Sometimes we grab a quick bite from the tea stall down the lane. Most people in the village know where we are because we've been in this spot for a long time. It’s quiet in the afternoons when the sun is high. We handle the daily tasks as they come, nothing too fancy. Usually, there is a lot of paperwork to go through before the day ends. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up fine for now. We don’t really have a big sign outside, just the address that people use to find us. It’s a practical setup for the work we do. Every now and then, the power goes out, and we just wait it out while talking about the weather or the local news. It’s just how things go here in Orissa. We just keep things moving along steadily every day. It's not flashy, but it works.
