Sumitomo Mitsui Construction.Co.Ltd is located here in Bidanasi, Cuttack, specifically near Behera Steel Co on C.D.A Road. Our office is set up with Satya Brata Das and Sujata Das, which gives it a more personal, local feel than a big city office. Being in Orissa, we deal with a lot of different conditions, from the coastal winds to the intense summer sun. Cuttack is an old city, and working here means navigating some pretty tight spots. We spend our time managing construction projects, which usually involves a lot of phone calls and checking on supplies. The office is pretty simple. There are maps on the walls and folders everywhere. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to make us look polished; we just have engineers and supervisors who care about getting the structures right. You’ll often find us sitting around the main table talking about the day's progress or complaining about the heat. It’s a straightforward environment. We’re close to the steel company, so there’s always the sound of metal and trucks moving around. That’s just the background noise of our lives. We’ve been part of this community for a while, and people around Bidanasi know where to find us if they need to talk shop. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We’re just a construction group trying to keep things moving forward in our corner of the world. Every project we finish is just another day at the job for us.
