We've been at this spot in Ashok Nagar for a while now, tucked in over at Bhoomika Marketing. Most mornings start the same way, with someone brewing a pot of tea and the sound of files getting moved around. It isn’t a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. People come by asking about different construction projects or just to drop off papers. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at site plans spread across the desks. Bhubaneswar is growing fast, and you can see it just by looking out the window most days. The walls have a few old calendars and maps of the city pinned up. Our team is small, but we’ve known each other for years. We handle a lot of the logistical stuff that people don't really see. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet gets slow, but we just keep working. There’s usually a stack of blueprints in the corner that needs sorting. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty for visitors. It’s mostly just hard desks and old chairs. We focus on the tasks at hand, whether it's checking on materials or talking to the crew out in the field. It’s a busy environment but we're used to the noise from the street. Everyone knows where to find us if they need to talk about a job. We just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss.
