Maha Cements

Maha Cements is located in the Khemlatha Apartments, specifically at V. Annappa C 202 on Vivekananda Marg. This is over in Bhubaneswar, Orissa. The apartment complex is a well-known landmark in the neighborhood. We use this flat as our main office space. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. There are a few desks pushed together and some chairs for visitors. We handle the local supply and coordination for the cement business from here. Bhubaneswar is a growing city, so we stay pretty busy with all the new construction going on. The internet can be a bit slow sometimes, which is frustrating when we are trying to send out reports. We usually have the windows open to let some air in. You can hear the sounds of the street from the balcony. It feels more like a home than a corporate office, which some of us actually prefer. We have a small kitchen where we heat up our lunches. Most of the people who work here have been in the industry for a long time. We don't have a big sign outside, so you have to look for the apartment number. It’s a practical way to run things without too much overhead. The parking outside can be a bit of a nightmare during peak hours, so most people just take a rickshaw.
