Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd.

We operate out of Nageswartangi in Bhubaneswar, at Plot No. 494, which is actually C/O K.C. Panda’s place. It has a very residential feel to it, being tucked away in this part of town. The office is basically a functional room where we keep our records and handle the logistics for the local area. We use the email jenasatyesh@yahoo.co.in for most of our digital correspondence, but a lot of the work is still done over the phone or in person. When the monsoon hits Orissa, things slow down a bit because nobody wants to paint in the rain, but that gives us time to reorganize the shelves and get the inventory sorted. There are always stacks of Nerolac brochures and color fan decks on the table for people to flip through. The floor is a bit stained and the walls could probably use a fresh coat themselves, which is a bit ironic for a paint company office. We don't have any fancy uniforms; we just wear what is comfortable for moving boxes around. It is a quiet, steady kind of workplace where we know most of the people who come through the door by name. We just focus on keeping the supply chain moving and making sure the orders are accurate before they go out to the local sites across Bhubaneswar.
