Essel Mining And Industries is based out of Gram Post Barbil in the Keonjhar district of Orissa. Barbil is a place that everyone knows for mining, so it makes sense that we are here. We have been part of this community for a long time. The work we do is pretty straightforward. We are involved in the mining industry, which means lots of heavy machinery and people working outdoors. It is a tough environment sometimes, especially when it’s hot or raining, but we are used to it by now. The town of Barbil is built around this kind of work, so we fit right in. We don't have any polished speeches about what we do. We just wake up, go to the site, and get through the day’s tasks. There are a lot of trucks on the roads and a lot of dust in the air, but that’s just how it is in this part of Orissa. Our team is made up of people who know the land and know how to work it. We don't really do anything fancy or promotional. We just have a job to do for the company and we do it as best as we can. It’s a big operation, but at the end of the day, it’s just about moving rocks and minerals. That is what we’ve been doing for years and we just keep on doing it.
