Essel Mining & Industries Ltd.( An Aditya Birla Group)

Essel Mining & Industries Ltd. is tied in with the Aditya Birla Group, and this specific branch is over in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. We are located at Sushil Kunj on Shivaji Marg in the Tikarapara area. It’s a bit of a different setup here than the main mining sites. We handle things from the office of R. A. Dubey. It’s a regular building in a regular neighborhood. We don't have the big hills or the heavy excavators right outside the window here, but we are still part of the same big company. Most of our days are spent on paperwork or talking to people on the phone. It gets pretty hot in Bilaspur during the summer, so we just try to keep things moving along inside. People walk past Shivaji Marg all the time and maybe don't even realize what goes on in here. We aren't trying to be flashy or anything. It’s just an office where the work of the group gets handled. We have a small team here compared to the guys out in the fields. We’ve been at this address for a while and the locals know us. It’s a practical place for a practical job. We just show up, do what needs doing for the day, and head home. That’s how we’ve always operated here in CG. It’s simple and it works for us and for the company.
