Dass Facility Management Services

Our office is located right near Kalinga Studio in Bharatpur. It’s an interesting spot because you sometimes see film crews or gear moving around the neighborhood. The office itself is pretty basic. We’ve got a couple of rooms where we manage all the scheduling for our staff who are out at different sites. Managing facility services means we are always dealing with some kind of small emergency, like a leak somewhere or a missed shift. The phone usually starts ringing before eight in the morning. We have a big whiteboard on the wall where we try to keep track of everyone, but it usually ends up covered in scribbles and erased notes. The chairs aren't the most comfortable, but we aren't sitting in them for long anyway. There’s a small shop down the road where we get lunch, usually just whatever is ready. Bharatpur can get quite busy, and the road near the studio often has cars parked everywhere. We’ve got a small storage area in the back for cleaning supplies and some basic tools, and it always smells a bit like floor cleaner. It’s not a corporate skyscraper by any means. It’s just a ground-floor office where we try to keep everything running smoothly for the people who rely on us. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just sit by the door where there’s more light until it comes back on. It’s just a normal day for us here at our desk.
