We are situated at Plot No 1 A, Sector B, inside the Chandaka Nucleus Industrial Complex in Patia. It is an interesting place to work because you are surrounded by factories and other industrial buildings. The vibe is very much about getting things done. Being in the Patia area means there is always something being built or moved nearby. Our office is a simple one. We do not have any big signs or bright lights. It is just a place for the staff to coordinate the engineering college activities. The walls are a bit plain, and the furniture has seen better days, but it serves its purpose for the daily grind. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea in the afternoons. Sometimes the noise from the industrial complex can get a little loud, especially when the heavy trucks are moving in and out of the sector. You get used to the sound of machinery in the distance. We have quite a few people coming in and out—staff, delivery drivers, and the occasional student who got lost looking for a specific lab. It is not a corporate high-rise with glass walls. It is a practical building in a hardworking part of town. We spend our hours tracking schedules and managing the logistics of a large school. It is a lot of routine, but it keeps the whole operation from falling apart.
