Om Arts

The shop is tucked into Indrayani Corner. We are quite close to the Sai Tools Center here in the MIDC area of Bhosari. Being in an industrial zone means there is always noise from trucks and machines nearby. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we are used to it. Inside Om Arts, things are usually a bit cluttered with paint jars and brushes. We don't really bother with a big showroom. Most people just come to the back where we are actually working on things. The floor has some stains on it from over the years, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for us. We get a lot of people from the other factories nearby stopping in to ask questions. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we have to cover up the fresh work. It’s a simple setup. We start early and stay until the sun goes down. Lunch is usually something brought from home, eaten quickly at the workbench. We have a small radio that plays mostly local stations. It’s just a regular spot where we do our thing every day. If you look for the corner near the tool center, you will see us. We don't really have a big sign out front, just the name on the door.
