Viksun Spintex has its office at 301, Vallabh Park. We are pretty close to Telephone Nagar in Indore. It is a decent area and being on the third floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below. We mostly focus on the spinning side of the textile business. Most of our day is spent talking to the mills and figuring out where the yarn needs to go. We have a lot of samples sitting around on the shelves. Sometimes the floor is covered in small bits of thread that we have to sweep up at the end of the day. The office isn't very large, so we all sit pretty close to each other. It makes it easy to ask questions without having to get up. Indore is a fast-paced city, and we feel that energy even in our quiet building. We usually start the morning with some tea and a quick look at the messages that came in overnight. It is just a group of us trying to keep the spinning contracts in order. We don't use a lot of fancy software; a lot of it is still kept in ledgers and notebooks because that is just what we are used to. It works for us. When the weather gets nice, we leave the windows open to catch the breeze, but mostly we just stay focused on the tasks at hand. It is not glamorous, but the work is steady.
