Our firm, Vastu Casa Architects & Interior Designer, is situated on Arera Colony Road in Bhopal. We are right there in Arera Colony, near the Bittan area, which is a very green and nice part of the city. The office is at E4/399. It is an old building with a lot of character. Inside, we have long tables where we spread out our drawings and floor plans. There are samples of tiles, wood, and fabric lying around most of the time. We spend a lot of our day arguing over measurements or looking at color palettes under the light. It is a busy place, but we try to keep it organized enough so we can find our rulers and pens. The Arera Colony area has a lot of trees, so the view from our window is actually quite nice when we take a break. We are not a massive corporate firm; we are just a small team of designers and architects who like building things. People in the neighborhood know us, and we often see the same faces walking by every morning. We don't have a flashy entrance. You just walk in and see us working at our computers or talking to contractors. It is a practical workspace where the focus is on the actual design work rather than looking important. We have been in Bhopal for a long time and like the pace here.
