Vardan Hospital

You can find us in the Shiv Narayan Complex. We are near the Lily Talkies Circle in Jahangirabad. That circle is a major point for the buses and autos, so it is never really quiet around here. The complex itself has various shops and offices, and we are one of the busier spots in it. Working in a hospital in Jahangirabad means you see just about everything. We have several rooms for patients and a small area for the staff to sit when things aren't too chaotic. The floors are polished stone and they get quite slippery when they are mopped in the morning. I usually get here before the sun is fully up to start the rounds and check on whoever stayed overnight. The furniture is mostly metal and plastic, stuff that’s easy to wash down. We don't have a lot of wall decorations, just some notices and the occasional calendar. People are always coming and going through the main doors. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the rooms and the front desk. Being near Lily Talkies means there is always food nearby if we miss lunch. It is a tough job sometimes, staying on your feet all day, but this is a busy part of town and people need a place to go when they are sick. We just do what we can.
