At Vandress Garment Private Limited, we work out of a space at 105, Heera Nagar in the Sukhliya area of Indore. It’s a busy part of the city, and our building is right in the middle of it all. We spend our time dealing with different types of clothing, making sure the quality is what it should be. The office and workshop are combined so we can see what's happening with the production as it goes. Being in Heera Nagar is convenient because it's easy for our staff to get to work and for deliveries to reach us. We aren't trying to be some high-fashion brand; we just focus on making garments that people can actually wear every day. The atmosphere inside is pretty casual, though we do get busy when new orders come in. You’ll mostly hear the sound of steam irons and sewing machines if you drop by. We’ve been in Indore for some time now and like the energy of the Sukhliya neighborhood. Most of our day is spent checking fabrics, talking to suppliers, and making sure the packing is done right. It’s a lot of physical work, moving boxes and organizing racks, but it’s a steady living. We try to keep things simple and avoid any unnecessary drama in the workspace. It’s just us, some cloth, and the machines, trying to get things finished by the end of the shift.
