Vaishali Clinic

Vaishali Clinic is tucked away in Shop No 49/50 at the 10 No Market in Arera Colony. Since we are in a market, there is always a lot of noise from the other shops and people doing their daily shopping. It’s not like those quiet hospitals you see in movies. Here, you hear the vegetable sellers and the scooters zooming by outside the door. We have two shop units joined together to make enough space for the waiting area and the consultation room. It is a bit tight sometimes, especially when a whole family comes in together. The floors are easy to clean, which is good because people bring in a lot of dust from the market street. Our staff is just a few people who have been working together for a long time. We know the regulars who come in for their blood pressure checks or just to ask a quick question. There isn’t a lot of formality here. You walk in, see if the doctor is free, and take a seat on one of the plastic chairs. We don’t have a website or any big advertisements. People just see the sign while they are out getting their groceries and they come in. It is a simple, practical way to run a clinic in a place like Arera Colony. We just focus on the people who walk through the door and try to keep things organized in our little corner. It’s busy but we like the market atmosphere.
