U.M. Diesel

Our shop U.M. Diesel is sitting right on Chola Road, and if you know the area, you know how busy it gets around here. We are situated opposite the Hanuman Gunj Thana, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. Being so close to the Nadra Bus Stand means there is always noise and people moving about. We deal with diesel engines and all the greasy bits that come with them. It is hard work and the floor usually has some oil spots on it no matter how much we sweep. We have been in this part of town for a long time. The buses come and go all day long and the police station across the way keeps things orderly enough. It is not a place for sitting around in clean clothes. We are usually buried under a hood or fixing a pump. If you walk down from the bus stand, you will see our sign eventually. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon and it gets pretty warm inside. We just drink some water and keep at it. Most of our regulars are truck drivers or people who live around Hanuman Gunj. We don't have a fancy website or a secretary. It is just us and the tools and the smell of diesel. It is a busy life but we like being right in the middle of everything on Chola Road, even with all the smoke and traffic.
