Down at 3103 Rigadiya, you will find the Surai Medical College and Hospital. It is a fairly large building because it has to have enough room for both the hospital wards and the different spaces for the students to study. It is not a brand-new glass and steel building; it is more of a solid, older structure that has been a part of the Rigadiya landscape for a long time. Inside, there are long hallways that always seem to have someone walking fast or carrying charts. We have dedicated rooms for the classes and then separate sections where the patients stay for their care. The main lobby is usually quite full of people waiting or students standing around talking about their latest notes or exams. It can feel like a bit of a maze if you are not used to coming here. The walls are painted in a very simple blue and white color scheme. We do not have any fancy cafes or shops inside, just a small corner where you can get a cup of tea. The yard outside is mostly paved over, with just a few trees growing near the main gate. It gets very loud in the afternoons when the students are changing their classes.
