Surabhi Art is located in Rishi Nagar, specifically at E-8 in the Bawariakalan area. It’s a quiet spot, which is nice for the kind of work we do. We deal with various types of art pieces and frames. The shop is filled with different bits of wood for framing and some canvases leaning against the walls. It isn't a high-end gallery where you have to whisper. It's just a place where we put things together. I’ve always liked working with my hands. Sometimes the paint takes a long time to dry and we have to move things around to make space. It’s a bit cluttered, but that’s how art shops usually are. We don't have a big sign out front, just enough for people to find us in Rishi Nagar. Most of our customers are locals from Bawariakalan who want something nice for their walls. We don't use fancy sales pitches. We just show what we have or talk about what can be made. It’s a small operation. Just me and occasionally some help. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and occasionally painting. It’s a peaceful way to make a living. We’ve been at this address for several years now. It’s not about being famous, just about doing something that looks good in someone’s home. We try our best to get the frames straight and the glass clean.
